Location & Architecture

Modern ambiance with a fantastic view

Villa Alvarium is located in a perfect vantage point at the entrance of Schenna, the sun terrace above Merano. The historic center can be reached in a few minutes on foot.

Light-Flooded Living

For the design of the building and from an energy perspective, a compact structure was sought, featuring closed fronts to the north and east, and opening up with total glazing to the south and west towards the sun.

This visually brings nature into the living area and floods it with light.

Timeless Living Experience

The building materials consist only of concrete, glass, aluminum, and wood. All walls and ceilings were made of exposed concrete. The exterior walls were created in attractive white concrete. A light, floating roof with greenery covers the rooftop terrace. In addition, there are large sun terraces to enjoy the tranquility and mild climate.
